Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse 27mm 4216/1 – Blue Dial

Patek drew the Golden Ellipse in 1968 around the golden section, and the proportions have not been touched since: a case that is neither round nor oval, with a bezel curving continuously into the lugs. This white gold version measures 27mm and runs on an integrated gold bracelet, so the ellipse carries through the whole watch. The dial is left almost empty, with two hands, applied markers and a deep sunburst finish.
