Heuer built the reference 2446 Autavia for drivers and pilots who needed elapsed time at a glance, and the 38mm steel case delivers it: a high-contrast three-register layout, a rotating bezel for a second reference point, and broad luminous hands. The hand-wound Valjoux 72 drives the chronograph through a column wheel, started and stopped by pump pushers flanking the crown. One of the founding references of Heuer's sports chronograph line.
