The blue two-tone Submariner arrived in 2009 with a Cerachrom bezel in a blue Rolex had to develop specifically for ceramic, alongside a sunburst blue dial that runs almost black toward the rehaut. An 18k yellow gold bezel, crown and centre links sit against steel, and the Glidelock clasp extends the bracelet in small increments to clear a wetsuit sleeve without adding links.
