Rolex Pre-Daytona Chronograph 36mm 6238 – Silver Dial

Known to collectors as the pre-Daytona, the 6238 was Rolex's last chronograph before the Cosmograph moved the tachymeter scale off the dial and onto the bezel. Its 36mm steel case keeps a smooth polished bezel and prints the scale on the dial's outer track, giving the watch a cleaner front than the Daytonas that followed. Three registers sit at three, six and nine, driven by a manually wound chronograph.
