The SARU is Rolex gem-setting at full stretch: a 40mm yellow gold GMT-Master II with a bezel of invisibly set baguette sapphires and rubies grading through blue and red, framed by diamonds on the case and lugs. The gradient echoes the original Pepsi bezel in precious stones rather than aluminium. Underneath sits the same dual-time architecture pilots have used since 1955, with a 24-hour hand that adjusts independently of the hours.
