The Deepsea handles 3,900 metres through Rolex's Ringlock system, a nitrogen-alloyed steel compression ring inside the 44mm case that carries the load of a domed sapphire crystal and titanium caseback. A helium escape valve vents saturation gas on ascent. The Cerachrom bezel insert and Chromalight display stay legible at depth, and the bracelet adds Glidelock and Fliplock extensions for wetsuits.
