Rolex Daytona 40mm Yellow Gold 16518 – White Arabic Dial

Rolex built the 16518 in 18k yellow gold and sold it on a leather strap, an unusual combination for a chronograph of this period. The movement is the calibre 4030, based on Zenith's El Primero and heavily reworked in Geneva, with the beat rate reduced and a large share of the parts replaced. Screw-down pushers, an engraved gold tachymetric bezel, and the last Daytona generation to use an outside base.
