Rolex Daytona 40mm Steel 16520 – Black Dial

The 16520 brought the Daytona into the automatic era in 1988 and stayed in production until 2000, bridging the manual chronographs and the in-house 4130. Its calibre 4030 is a Zenith El Primero slowed to 28,800 vibrations an hour and rebuilt to Rolex specification. A steel Oyster case, screw-down pushers, and the inverted-six subdial printing found on early examples define the run.
