The Day-Date II stretched Rolex's flagship calendar watch to 41mm, giving the day disc at twelve and the date at three room to breathe across a broad dial. Cased in 18 ct white gold with a fluted bezel and carried on the semi-circular links of the President bracelet, it reads as a deliberately larger take on the watch Rolex introduced in 1956. Caliber 3156 changes both calendar displays instantaneously at midnight.
