White gold on the fluted bezel is the only precious metal on the 16234, which keeps the rest of its 36mm case and Jubilee bracelet in steel. The result reads as a steel watch with sharper light play across the flutes. The calibre 3135 handles the quickset date, while the sapphire crystal and Twinlock crown seal the Oyster case to 100 metres.
