NG in Rolex shorthand means nacre and gemstones: a mother-of-pearl dial with diamond hour markers. No two of these dials are identical, since the shell is cut and matched by hand before the counters are sunk into it. The 40mm yellow gold case carries an engraved tachymetric bezel and screw-down pushers, and caliber 4130 drives the chronograph. The gold bracelet closes on a folding Oysterlock clasp.
