Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 40mm 116520 – White Dial

The 116520 covered a sixteen-year run and was the first steel Daytona to use Rolex's in-house caliber 4130, replacing the Zenith-based movement of the previous generation. The 40mm case carries an engraved steel bezel with tachymetric scale rather than ceramic, and the black and white dials are the only two Rolex offered. Later examples switched to Chromalight luminescence, giving collectors a clear dividing line within the reference.
