Patek marked its 150th anniversary in 1989 with a run of commemorative pieces, and this steel Calatrava was made for the Japanese market, an unusual combination for a house that rarely worked in steel at the time. The 38mm case keeps a plain polished bezel and slim bombé lugs, with applied markers and a small seconds register on the dial. A manually wound movement holds the profile flat under the crystal.
