Omega Speedmaster Professional Missions Gemini IX 42mm 3597.07.00 – Black Dial

Omega's Missions series devoted one Speedmaster to each crewed flight the model accompanied, and this piece marks Gemini IX, the 1966 mission that put Gene Cernan outside his spacecraft for more than two hours. The 42mm steel case and tachymeter bezel are standard Moonwatch, but the dial centre carries the mission emblem in enamel rather than the usual finish. A hand-wound chronograph movement drives it beneath a Hesalite crystal.
