Cartier built the Roadster around a car-door curve: a cushion case that flares outward, a wide grooved crown guard, and a dial whose railroad minute track sweeps in a gentle arc. The silvered face carries Cartier's stretched Roman numerals and the hidden signature at VII. An interchangeable strap system, released by a catch under the lugs, lets the same watch read as sport or dress in seconds.
