Rolex Explorer II 42mm 216570 – Black Dial

The 216570 marked the Explorer II's fortieth anniversary in 2011 by bringing back the oversized orange 24-hour hand of the original 1655. The case grew to 42mm with a fixed steel bezel engraved with the 24-hour scale, letting the wearer separate day from night underground or in constant polar daylight. The calibre 3187 adds Paraflex shock absorbers to the independent GMT mechanism.
