Rolex Submariner 40mm 5513 – Black Dial

Produced from 1962 into the 1980s, the 5513 is the no-date Submariner that ran alongside the 1680 and became the reference collectors point to for the model's cleanest proportions. Its 40mm Oyster case carries an aluminium bezel insert, a plexiglass crystal and a dial that shifted through gilt, matte and later glossy finishes across the run. Without a date module the layout stays symmetrical and the case profile slim.
