The two-tone predecessor to the ceramic-bezel Daytona, running a yellow gold bezel with an engraved tachymetric scale over a 40mm steel case. Rolex offered black, white and champagne dials, the last of which leans hardest into the gold. Centre links on the Oyster bracelet repeat the metal. Caliber 4130 sits inside, the movement Rolex designed specifically for the Daytona with a vertical clutch and column wheel.
