Patek solved a long-standing problem with the 5330: on a world time watch the date has to follow whichever zone you are actually in. A patented mechanism links the date ring to the local hour, so turning the city ring drags the date with it, forward or back. The 40mm white gold case carries a fluted bezel edge and a dial whose centre is finished in fine guilloché, framed by twenty-four cities.
