Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Retrograde 39.5mm 5496R-001 – White Dial

A retrograde date does not run in a circle: the hand sweeps an arc across the top of the dial and springs back to the first at the end of every month, a motion the perpetual calendar has to drive correctly through February as well. Patek sets it in a 39.5mm rose gold case with a stepped bezel, day and month apertures below twelve, and a moon phase at six that stays accurate for over a century.
