Patek Philippe Chronograph 42mm 5070J-001 – Black Dial

The 5070 was Patek's return to a large manual chronograph in 1998, and at 42mm it was the biggest watch the house had made in decades. The case has a stepped bezel and long straight lugs that recall the 1940s references, while the two-register dial gives thirty elapsed minutes at three and running seconds at nine. Inside is the Lemania-based CH 27-70, a column-wheel movement finished to Patek's own standards.
