Cartier darkened the Santos 100 with a PVD-coated steel case and titanium bezel, turning the centenary model's bright metal into matte black. The eight exposed screws still hold the bezel and the Roman numerals still ride a railway minute track, but the palette moves the design toward tool watch. Self-winding, on leather, with the rounded flanks that make the squared case sit comfortably.
