A 42mm steel Ballon Bleu on the matching bracelet, driven by Cartier's in-house 1847 MC automatic. The case is deliberately full and rounded, its domed sapphire continuing the curve of the flanks, and the crown guard sweeps into the dial to protect the blue cabochon. The minute track and Roman numerals bend around that guard, the visual signature Cartier built the whole model on.
