The Datograph rewrote expectations for the modern chronograph in 1999 with a flyback column-wheel movement, precisely jumping minute counter and Lange's outsize date above six. Reference 403.032 houses it in a 39mm 18k rose gold case, the dial balancing two sunken registers against the date window. Turn it over and the calibre is one of the most photographed in watchmaking, with its swan-neck regulator and engraved balance cock.
